Oxy Arts and the Arts in Los Angeles Immersive Semester

Oxy Arts opened in 2019 on York Boulevard and is the community-based arts hub of Occidental College. The Arts in Los Angeles Immersive Semester is an interdisciplinary approach for first-year students, even while remote, to become actively involved in research on and the work of the arts in Los Angeles. At this special event, Lisa Coscino '85 hosted Oxy Arts Director Meldia Yesayan and Professor Amy Lyford, who discussed their work with Oxy students and the Eagle Rock community, and how these new programs are enriching the Oxy experience. You can view the recorded event below.

An Inside Look at Oxy Arts and the Arts in Los Angeles Immersive Semester was presented as part of The Oxy Campaign For Good Virtual Event Series, which showcases Oxy's beautiful campus, student and faculty achievements, and connects the alumni and parent community to the Oxy experience.
