Virtual Reunions

The 2020 Alumni Reunion Weekend was intended to celebrate classes ending in 0s and 5s. We are grateful to our many reunion committee volunteers who connected with classmates throughout the year, and quickly shifted gears to celebrate their milestone reunions.

On June 13, during what would have been Oxy's traditional Alumni Reunion Weekend, four 2020 reunion classes connected over video for happy hour celebrations. The classes of 1970, 1975, 1980 and 1985 organized these virtual gatherings to catch up with old friends and reminisce with their Oxy classmates and professors. We look forward to hosting future virtual reunion events to bring alumni together, near and far.

Remembering Nick Lee ’10

(1987 – 2019)

Nicholas "Nick" Lee '10 loved his time at Oxy, where he studied Economics and Chinese, studied abroad in Beijing, was a member of Phi Kappa Psi fraternity, and gave back to the College as a Telefund caller and avid volunteer. Nick’s dedication to his alma mater continued well after his graduation in 2010, as he led alumni events in the San Francisco Bay Area and supported the next generation of Oxy students.

Nick, a beloved member of the Oxy community, passed away in August 2019. To honor Nick’s memory, The Lee Family and Noah Goldsmith ‘10 are leading an effort to raise $100,000 to establish the Nick Lee '10 Endowed Financial Aid Fund. The endowed fund will provide critical scholarship assistance for future Tigers, ensuring Oxy continues to meet the demonstrated financial need of every student.
