In tribute to his inspiring dedication to Eagle Rock and Occidental, the Board of Governors is honored to name Eric Warren ’69 the 2019 Alumni Seal Award for Service to the Community.
Eric was born and raised in Eagle Rock, attended Eagle Rock High School before Occidental, and lives here today with his wife, Karen. After a career as a set designer for film and theater, Eric dedicated his retirement years to chronicling and preserving the rich history of the neighborhood. With the Eagle Rock Valley Historical Society, he has authored and edited three volumes of area history. He is member of Kiwanis, sponsoring the Eagle Rock High School Key Club. With Occidental College Library Special Collections, Eric facilitated the acquisition and publication of major documents of local history. He serves on the Alumni Board of Governors and is a member of the Ben Culley Society.
