Since 1887, the philanthropy of Oxy’s alumni, parents, and friends, like you, have allowed the College to offer the highest quality liberal arts education to students from all backgrounds. To sustain this culture, Oxy must grow our philanthropic community of alumni. We need your help to increase our family of alumni donors by 2,000 and reach the campaign goal of 38% cumulative alumni participation.
Why does alumni giving participation matter? College ranking publications, grant giving institutions, employers, prospective students and parents, all look to our alumni participation rate as a signal of alumni satisfaction. Reaching our campaign goal will have a positive effect on our annual alumni giving rate, which currently stands at 15% according to U.S. News and World Report.
