Dear Oxy Tigers,

For reasons that need not to be reiterated here, the 2019-2020 academic year was the most challenging to date for this generation of students, faculty and staff.
Yet, Tigers of all stripes came out to support our community through the Oxy Fund – thank you! In fact, this past year the Oxy Fund reached its highest fundraising total on record, raising $5.7 million for the College (see Day For Oxy to see how it helped us reach this new height!). Your generosity is unparalleled, and your collective effort makes the Oxy experience possible, even while remote.

The Oxy Fund provides critical, flexible and unrestricted funding to support our students’ experience. The results of your gifts can be felt and seen far and wide across campus, especially now throughout the remote teaching and learning experience. First and foremost, the Oxy Fund supports the College’s greatest need: financial aid and student scholarships which is one of the primary reasons I contribute consistently. Other areas of need include faculty innovation, curriculum development, athletics programs, student clubs and the maintenance of our beautiful campus. With the closure of campus in March 2020, there have been substantial increases in technology needs – both at Oxy and at our students’ residences.

Thank you, my fellow Tigers, for your commitment to Oxy's mission. Your generosity will be appreciated by generations of students to come.

Your Impact on Today’s Students

The full Oxy experience starts with their acceptance letter and the generous financial support the College offers to the best and brightest students. They then have four transformative years working closely with professors, debating with classmates, studying abroad, winning and losing on the field, and leading and participating in student clubs. These experiences can only happen because of you—thank you.
